Don't know why people keep nitpicking. I just meant that one is a drastic change while another was perfecting act. Like s4 (number upgrades) and s5 (improvements) s6 (redesign and new tech) and S7 (improvements) .

They are doing great and should be proud of what they accomplished, they produce good phones for good prices, and their flagship the mate 9 was released and personally I think it's a good phone overall and I am actually thinking of buying it, as I always appreciate a phone with a good battery and a performing processor.

Of course. that is 1st thing that came to my mind, but also the Galaxy s8, which is a really big problem for others because while S7 was a perfecting act (evolution) which is predictable and also the strategy against that is easier to select , this one i(s8) is set to be a "revolution" which increases uncertainties. Also IPhone 8 /10.

2) The Redmi Note 3 was only a huge success in India. India is Xiaomi's biggest market, believe it or not. They are failing in China and in the rest of the world.

paco2x, 30 Dec 2016Even with the heavy promotion of Huawei... it's very diffic... moreHuawei doesn't even need to enter the North American market, as they are doing perfectly fine in China, Europe and the Middle East, and they'll do fine (maybe not as good as in 2016) in 2017 aswell.

Even with the heavy promotion of Huawei... it's very difficult to them to lure the North american market, one of the most lucrative markets. Even with the Note 7 debacle, the Samsung brand is still strong in NA just like Apple.
