€329 and €429??? For €210 I can get the Xiaomi Mi 5 with SD820 and other things. The A3 should be under €200, like the Moto G4.

First of all the design well outdated, reminds me of a s3. Secondly for that money you have an iphone 6s,honor 8,huawei p9, sony x compact, and a lot just coming at CES tomorrow. FAIL!!

I will never understand Samsung. No note 5. No big screen A series. What is so difficult about launching all their phones? It isn't as if the don't have the languages in the ROM.
And only Marshmallow at this price, which doesn't bode well for future updates.
It really feels as if they want to drive us to another manufacturer.

I wonder if Canada will receive it. We didn't received the A(2016) series, there are no more original A(2014) devices sold here. We are stuck with lame J16 and J36, average Grand Prime and the S6-S7 + Note 5. These are the only devices sold here, in contrast with the US, where there are so many choices, at only 50KM of distance.

I can try to understand people who pay extra money for flagships, but this?
This specs just don't worth it.
429€ for A5? Nah! Pay extra 10€ and you will get actual flagship OnePlus 3T for 439€!
If you still want Samsung, better to get S6 for less, or S7 for little extra cost on sale.
I'm not sure about pricing in other countries, but in Germany I will never pay 429€ for A5.

yeah, well... that's an awful lot of cash to ask for considering there's nothing really worth noting here. would rather buy an older upper-midrange phone instead
