majority of the phones are made in china, even your appliances(some are made in china), you may say cheap, but there is a reason why it is cheap; because the build quality is average(vise versa).
no offense, I'm just full on people discriminating Chinese products though I'm not from China; just don't buy it and don't comment such nonsense

ZTE? Who? "Teases"? Who is this and why would anyone be interested in an obscure smartphone company that is Chinese?

It's like saying Huwaei or w/e it's called "teases" us with one of their cheap knock-off phones.

A curved screen would be nice ONLY if it's on their axon7 (or soon to be 8) flagship. I love the axon7. My inly gripe is that it wont work perfectly on Verizon. It will work, but there are some glitches.

ZTE is not a Chinese manufacturer. Both HTC and ZTE are Taiwanese.

I can see third party tempered glass manufacturer scratching their heads, "What is it with all these curved display smartphones".

crap. went from note 7 curved screen which I hated (the curve introduces yellowy tints and weird annoying color distortions) to the flawless flat screen on the Axon 7 and thought i won this game. all ZTE really had to do to improve was throw in a larger rear cam sensor w/ less megapixels and add force touch to the capacitive keys and spread them out more to fix the app exit issue when pressing spacebar :(
knowing zte the hardware will be great sure but the palm rejection will suck and everyone will be mad about it, just the way their cap keys (good intention, terrible execution) went.
