Honestly it's a sexy phone, I hope they'll make another model that has an 820 minimum and more RAM and QHD.

This is how BlackBerry survive, switch to android and make it rock.
Hope Nokia do it for the new coming up smartphone :D

Never used a blackberry but always read with interest. I have to say, this looks exciting. Hopefully keys are not too small for men's fingers like some of past. Can't wait to see more.

Now THAT looks sharp! Finally, a real physical keyboard for real work.

Now, if BB has any brains what so ever, please don't just make a model with Android on it for the kids, make one with Windows 10 Mobile on it for adults that have business to conduct. Asking for BB 10 would be too much.

The BlackBerry ''Mercury'' definitely has a high-end, top notch design. It is made of metal with a carbon fiber, leather-like back, which makes it feel very premium. Go check the hands-on videos on YouTube, they'll all say what I just said. Also, just like BL4NKF4CE said, the DTEK60 is actually an awesome phone with great specifications and a high-end, top notch design, as well. At least you tried.

Ok, this is officially one of my favorite phones of 2017. Added to the list.
BlackBerry and TCL are definitely doing something right and stepping up their game.
The phone is stunning. I am totally digging the design, and if it has high-end specifications and a normal price tag, this phone will seriously be one of the best of 2017.

Kudos, BlackBerry and TCL! You got me so hyped!

Nobody knows if it'll fail or not since it hasn't been released yet. Hell, we don't even know the model's name yet. Also, don't forget that this phone is aimed at business people.

xoXXo, 04 Jan 2017Since Blackberry put the production on TCL i lost my intres... moreYou obviously never owned the Q10 which was notorious for double-typing keyboards, and screens that wouldn't register touch at the bottom (which is kind of important for a gesture-based OS), or the original Passport where the frame would bend causing the screen to pop out at the top. Or the Priv, which had creaky keyboards with inconsistent key travel. One only needs to browse the forums at Crackberry dot com to see what kind of issues people had with the build quality of old BlackBerry.

BlackBerry has had EXCELLENT phone design over the years, even won a few design awards for the Z30, but implementation was always crap and the consumer suffered. Outsourcing to another manufacturer is the only way to go.
