Retina display is just codename for lg's IPS LCD technology, and its inovative because they have put 900x540 resolution in 3,5 inch screen, so it's lg whos making retina... lg often make mobile handsets for korean market and much less handset for indian market whereas nokia and samsung introduce many options in india and others.that is the reason

Do you remember the brand "Goldstar", the best selling tv company in 80' 90', and do you know that that company changed name and its still actually here... Its LG! i have goldstar (lg) tv for, like 20 years, and it works as i bought it first day... And my son has lg cookie fresh for 1year and its very speedy and functional.... And do you know who invented capacitive touchscreen technology? Well LG did! So be proud with lg and dont be rude! And dont be fooled by apple who didnt invented anything!

LG phones are full of gimmicks that grows old quickly.
And lets not forget ZERO after sale customer care. Good luck getting any OS support after you buy their product.... only to find out they'll release another phone 2 months later.

But was crap. Slow and the screen scratched very easily. Many screens were frosted after a few months.

I love lg devices. They are sturdy and durable. These sales numbers should prompt the folks at the company to push up the release dates of their soon coming devices. We are headed towards the middle of q1, and they are still holding out on the release of their new devices. Let's go LG!

I had the cookie and thephone was a complete nonsense but with the optimus one I thought giving lg another chance and they never disappointed me at all
I have used their microwaves, air conditioners, lcd televisions, refrigerators and mobile phones. .
life is good.

Their phones... moreyeah, right... chocolate and viewty are great phones! and then, it was slow and cheap fell cuz none of the manufacturer wasnt talking about cpu in their phone or how much ram it has, but nowdays, all that is cruical for a nowdays phone, so no doubt this phone is super speedy and quality material at first due to price

LG are in trouble because people desert them.
Their phones look good, but quickly disappoint.
I have owned 3 LG phones and will not buy them again
First was LG C1200.
This was the best looking phone about, bought two, one for myself other for a friend. She discovered the problem first. The phone was slow www. With over a hundred text messages saved in her inbox, it took over 10 seconds to open any message. Also sound quality was poor at times. After a few months she sold both phones at a profit!
Second was Lg U8330.
A proper man's phone! Much faster, No problem with 180 texts saved on it. But Camera crap. Screen, colors washed out and gaps between the pixels. Moving around a photo very slow. No bluetooth, Infra red never worked and connecting to pc very difficult. Browser next to useless. Replaced it with a Nokia 6131. A hundred times better!
Third LG shine.
brushed metal and mirror effect. Nice phone.
Much faster than previous LG. BUT still much slower than the nokias!
And google maps refused to install.
Lets not forget the LG chocolate. Worst phone ever made. Sold millions, Lg laughting all the way to the bank. Users angry after a few days of use at being conned inti buying trash.
LG viewty, First rival to Iphone? Ha HA.
I tried Iphone in O2 store. It worked perfectly. Quality product screen reliable.
Tried LG viewty in 3 store. Cheap look and feel, the screen kept freezing.
