htc fan since the m8 and now i have the 10 .. but this delay for the eu will make me consider other options for sure . sorry htc

In the UK, my phone security version is still in August 2016. My carrier is Three. I'm a loyal HTC user, my next device will certainly have to be a Nexus or Pixel. #dissapointed

The only one that can hold them accountable(by not buying the phones) is the consumer and the average consumer doesn't care and has been "trained" to buy a new phone instead of demanding an update for an otherwise capable phone.All the average consumer wants is for social media apps to work on his device.

When carrier locked phones get an update before unlocked devices, it's when a manufacturer really needs to have a look at the way they do things.

Not too many people actually bought this phone on T-Mobile, it got so bad T-Mobile stopped selling it after a few months after release.

Meanwhile in Europe the unlocked HTC 10 is not receiving anything... My device is still on security patch August 1, 2016, Android 6.0.1. Come on, HTC! This is getting really annoying.
