Anonymous, 06 Jan 2017Not to mention without buttons its going to be nightmare fo... moreTBF older or less tech savvy people will not be going for a 'flagship' or 'eye bleeding tech' device, which obviously the S series is. I would venture that those folk would probably go more for the J or A Series due to price and not being bothered about the latest and greatest Samsung or any other manufacturer has to offer.

I don't know if this is the real S8 or not although I suspect not.

Even with all those different manufacturers, their phones all look basically and function like they come from the same cookie cutter mold. There is barely any difference between them. So what real "choice" is there honestly?

As far as "bias", actually I have had phones with all four major OS's within the last 5 years, at times two at the same time. So I have had real-time experience to compare them due to my work and our companies security policies. All I have posted is based on what I have experienced in dealing with each OS.

You made it clear at the end that you were just making up stuff in bias because toy don't like android and think it's not secure. Boo hoo

I think people are getting tired of Edges that provide no function.

AnonD-624256, 06 Jan 2017How can you sit there and say all Android phones look alike... moreActually quite easily. Look at any of the Chinese phones, compare them to the Samsung or LG or Google phones. What difference do you honestly see?

Same size, same finishes. Cameras might be a couple centimeters off from each other, but not much. Same rounded corners, along with smaller and smaller bezels.

If you were blindfolded, unless you owned the phones and were familiar with it's feel, you couldn't tell one brand from another.

They all run Android, with various tweaks/cripplings by the various makers. Android is an unsecure joke. You can't lock Java down enough to make it secure.

BlackBerry has a secure OS in BB10, yet they choose Android for some odd reason. Guess they like loosing money and security contracts because I have yet heard of any company accepting Android as a "secured phone OS".

Even Nokia's, BB and Windows phone look alike because they have a specific signature look to them that is easily recognizable by fans.

The smaller radii note7 corners were much nicer to look at. The more 'rumours', 'renders' and 'alleged photos' I see of the S8, the less I am liking it.

Proper tempted to skip the S8, try a mid to high range huawei or xiaomi and wait for note8 late in the year.
