Have just bought an A3 (2017) to replace my S5 mini. Am really pleased with everything except there's NO NOTIFICATION LED LIGHT. This is so annoying - I don't want the "always on display" feature so have disabled that. I often have the phone on silent so relied on the light to alert me to messages without having to keep pressing the power button to activate the display. Any possibility of a workaround or update? PLEASE!!!

Agree with anonymous, wouldn't have got it had I realised there was no LED, now I'm stuck with it for two years. Grrr

Fully loaded features, but no notification LED!!!
I hope "Always On Display" cover that, otherwise an application can be created to simulate led at top of screen ;)

Some deal-breakers are:
Low battery capacity (shoud be at least 2500 mAh)
Dropping True Dual-SIM functionality like A5 2017
Increasing in size but the same screen size as 2016 model
High price

There is a mistake.
It says that screen size matches 4.7" iPhone and therefore pixel density, as it is also 720p.
No. 720p on 4.7" means 312 ppi. IPhone have 758p display not 720p and therefore slightly higher pixel density of 326ppi (retina). To have same density on a 720p display, it should be 4.5"(S5 mini)
