LG Is a company which insists and wants to fail
they really had the chance to become the best but wasted it with stupid decisions for their phones and crappy marketing and poor quality sometimes
I Own LG G2 which i still think it was their best so far and most balanced flagship from them

By the current leaks, the G6 will be a flop too. LG isnt a big player in the industry anymore.
Their biggest mistake isnt taking away the remoavble battery. Alot of people buy LG instead of Samsung/Apple/Huawei just for that reason alone. If they get rid of this, their devices will become even less appealing and lose more customers.
Their design team also needs to be sacked. Their flagship design look like ugly low end phones. The huge camera bump needs to be gone, fill it up with battery instead. Their bootloops are also a problem they dont know how to fix either as its still happening.
All in all, LG will fail even harder in 2017. Waterproofing wont save them.

I've had no major problems with my current G5, the GPS is slow to lock and a bit inaccurate band screen ghosting but other than that it's good.
The first one i returned for replacement as it had many many issues, I guess QC missed that one.
My impression from my own and experience and what I read online is that LG gives an inconsistent experience to people, it's either amazing or the quality sucks.
I will stick with them because of the removable battery but if it's scrapped this year like what I hear, I'll probably just get a pixel or Samsung, all things being equal.

They should really hire a designer. G5 and V20 are looking quite awful, compared to V10 or even G3.

I doubt LG will do any better this year. They have to fix a lot of things like their device's builds, the bootlooping problems, and more. They have to gain their customers back by listening to them. We'll have to wait and see if the G6 and V30 will be flops.
