If Samsung releases the update Note 12.2, I would compete nect to nect with Apple iPad. The problem with Android Tablet is now having lower productivities then its smartphone exept larger screen.

For $300 I can buy a Chinese 2 in 1 from Ebay with QHD touch screen and Intel Atom X7 processor. It is just as well built as this pile of crap

Play apps adds a lot of value now. Honestly though, I think it is just a bridge to Andromeda. They are using this to get android developers thinking in a desktop sense.

I expect that Andromeda will bring a complete re-branding of android. They will use it to redefine the rules and OEM structure. I expect google to take ChromeOS type control over the updates.

Disagree with your conclusions on the Chromebook Pro!

@$499 is half the price of a new dell xps 13 2in1. Also, a lot less than a dell 7000 13, or Surface. Yes, they skimped on memory, but I can add a 128GB flash for $40 if I need it.
Love the 3/2 form factor. Perfect for previewing 8.5x11 pages in portrait mode. Not quite as high of resolution as the Surface, but still much better than all the standard FHD displays out there. And, I'd rather have an attached keyboard with the laptop/tent/tablet options.

There is no equivalent windows device quite like this at any price.

This not true. I have a Samsung Galaxy note 12.2 and the vast majority of Android apps runs perfectly there.

And don't come talking about apps, as chromebooks run phone apps on a larger screen. While Android apps are not designed and not optimized to run on screens larger than 6", and they look/work terrible.

And dun mention the apps, majority of Windows apps are bugs ridden that developers don't seem to wanna fix.

Look at that wobbly hinge. Touch it and the whole computer recoils. Not worth $250.

Do you know what kind of display they use? Is it an AMOLED panel? Would be awesome if it had the same quality as the Galaxy Tab S (100% AdobeRGB and very low Delta).
