Awsome! ps1 or psp games on my samsung galaxy S is more than enough imao and now we'll get newer games (pes with newer teams & players f.ex.) and a sony-made ps1 emulator would be much better than the tird-party ones available on the market!

george, 27 Jan 2011Heloooo this is ANDROID not nokia!!!Only android phones who... morego do yo revision.
Adroid laggz when u port that PSX4,& some game titles do not even work, guess that's why they develop this PlayStation Suite platform for Adroid devices & not nokia.
Check the videos on Youtube,
U can port many versions of PCSX & PSX4ALL on n900 & check the wonderful experiance u get,can play an game title u choose. This is why Sony was suing Nokia sometime back.

This is great since sony will back this up that means any games that from ps1 will work on this phone or other android devices smoothly. I've tested a few games on my vibrant, works good except for sound using psx4droid. When these games does comes out for adroids, they should be near perfect then.

I would say Legend of Legaia portable but I've been playing ps1/psx games on the n900 already. I guess it'll make a few sales and it'll be more mainstream but most gamers that buy smartphones know about emulators. It'll be interesting to see how this turns out. Now if it were ps2 games, then that'd be amazing.

Good news for Adroid fans,
But some of us have been playing original Playstation1 games on our Nokia n900,we use PCSX on N900 and play any PS1 game you want,or download them free online.

There is already a playstation emulator for android and it's very good and you don't have to re-buy the games you already own for PS1. I'm sure Sony will be looking to gain some money for the old games (I would say in the range of £7-15.
I hope for a full release of all PSX and current PSP titles on android (or hopefully Xperia Play). That would make android kick ass as a gaming platform!

Sony just gave the best reason to all gamers to buy Adroid devices (i am a Symbian user myself).
This will boost Sony sales and Android sales.
Great idea!

I'd rather use a PSP than this.
