This is superflous stupid wasteful and unnecessary. Phone is just a shell for software, want personalisation - get a case. Design should be minimal and long lasting. This trend of new designs for the sake of being new is fucking bullshit and it makes me nauseous. Design should be functional, not just superficial aesthetics.

What I understand is that this is going to be their flagship with, as a key selling point, VR support. Maybe a 4K display (for immersive VR), SD835 obviously and Nougat (Daydream ready). I except that it will serve as a HTC Vive, but that works alone too. This is logical since many devices can do VR by their own without the cost of the Vive, PSVR, Occulus Rift and so on.
