VIKI - is a registered trademark in Romania from 2014 by a company which develops a product for intelligent home applications. VIKI is a ubiquitous home, a omnipresent system that analyzes the actions of the members of the house, learn their preferences and then reproduce them naturally without the user to direct interaction with the house equipment. The product is promoted under the name VIKIKNOWS, has passed internal tests and this year they have some projects for clients in Romania.

just look how they handle VR market with Nokia ozo, when all companies enter to VR Headset bandwagon, Nokia released world first professional VR Camera.
my Guess Viki will be for internet of things, Nokia now own withings they need Viki in smartwatch, smart brush, etc

One of the reason that People use chat and social networking is to avoid talking, I don't see how many people would like to interact with AI especially in public. I will probably use it if I will get a good wireless earphone with excellent microphone which will improve accuracy of conversation and it will be like talking to a friend on phone.

But maybe in future it will evolve in some better form, because I won't talk to my phone in a room with other people, no matter how "intelligent " that AI is.
