Anonymous, 11 Jan 2017He's talking about Android version sirThat went over my head. My bad.
But yes, Meizu does prefer to stay on 5.1. Have three Meizu phones. (and running a community) No more. Getting a OP3T.

That said, Meizu phones are... meh at best, and support is non-existent.

Great, now if only they could ship even just one decent, heck not even decent but working smartphone it'd be nice.. oh wait that's Meizu I'm talking about, they're way too busy pretending staying on 5.1 for a 2016 flagship makes sense, and adding widgets which anyone can do with third party widget makers rather than focusing on what matters..

          Oops! Meizu never again.

as ive suspected, they are not really taking the global market seriously, only 10% and thats why the global firmwares are dissapointing. thats why the global versions are have less bands because it was designed for china only even if they have an international version, they just sell it to make sales figures boosted

Good news. I loved the Meizu Pro 5. Would like to see them come out with a high end 5 inch phone. Most of their smaller phones are in the budget segment. The Pro 6 was on the small side but poor battery life and heavy weight put me off.

I have a Meizu M3 good machine, quick no lag that I have experienced battery good only downside is the camera is a dog.

And Samsung wants to ship 100m Js, 20m As and 80m Ss. Where are these buyers came from? The world's population stood still lol.

Not interesting as long as they only support the China bands (even in internationally released phones).

22 million is nice and it's nice to see the company expanding, but their cameras are mediocre and the build quality is just... meh. Plus, they're getting more and more expensive, so I'm not sure how that'll work out for them.

No wonder. Their phones have great specs and with a cheap price tag. A huge win for Meizu. But sadly, they will become expensive as well when they get popular enough.
