I don't understand the fuss over the negativity surrounding Nokia 6.
The device has great specs for its price. SD430 is a very power efficient chip and a SoC doesn't always define the phone. With proper optimizations (which is expected of Nokia), the phone will be buttery smooth. It may not be the power performer that a sd650 might be but a phone is not always about benchmarks
With 4 GB RAM, multitasking will be breezy.
A 16 MP Nokia snapper is bound to better than all the phones in the segment as it has still a lot of patents with them.
The design is great as well. This type of scrutiny should be taken up for all samsung and htc devices as well in the same price bracket because nokia is competing with them, it always has. Chinese devices will come and go, but the brand trust that nokia has developed over the years demands us to be a bit more patient with the manufacturer.
So kindly reserve your judgement till the phone finally hits the markets.

If it uses SD650, it would be better.

It is very "uninteresting" from Nokia. Giant comes back so sluggishly. They just hope that only "Nokia" brand will convince consumers to purchase them.
There are lot of Chinese brands who offer similar spec with similar price. They could have concentrated building an excellent device at cheaper price like Oneplus and make it available to worldwide. Or build Qwerty keyboard devices like Blackberry to attract corporate customers and productivity people.
They had time and yet they didn't make compelling device.
