people who are talking bad about nokia they should know they are the ones who brought internet to mobile devices; they are the one who developed the 2g, 3g and 4g technologies for your mobile devices and on top of that right now they have one of the fastest 5g network technologies (at MWC 2016 they showed 19gigs/sec of data transfer rate). Apart from that their designs have the courage to stand out of crowd...

Shubham Jain, 12 Jan 2017I have used nokia 5800 and that was pathetic n worst phone ... moreYou have got to be joking. Your comment makes no sense. It's crazy to compare 5800 to the phones being built now. You have to give due credit to the Lumia phones' hardware.

AnonD-631500, 12 Jan 2017nokia should have stick to symbian and develop it further t... moreIt definitely would have been a logical choice but it's the app store that generally killed them. Elop also had an agenda which was to devalue Nokia in order for MS to purchase them for a cheaper price.
If Elop cared at all about Nokia's success, the most logical thing to do would have been to focus on a low-end, mid-range and flagship device (as opposed to 8 devices) and have those devices available in WIndows and Android ...this way they would have avoided the risk of having to submit to MS.
While I do think they should have further developed Symbian ...surely it was going to take time to do so, which they couldnt afford. Windows and Android have an Ecosystem which Symbian doesnt, and as you can see now, it's all about the ecosystem.

"It wouldn't hurt if it was a little thicker so the camera would be flush with back cover and the battery could be a little bigger.
I don't know why it's become a standard to have a protruding camera."
If they make it slightly thicker, many will complain its thick compared to other devices ...this was the case with practically all their Lumia's ...so the safer choice is to do what is perceived as more more important, which is a thin phone. Personally, I prefer when the phone isnt too thin and doesnt feel like a feather

Any colour other than gold and silver, I am sold. In 2017 I will buy only Nokia phones even if they are just ok phones. Too many memories with this brand. In India Nokia is going to be a success if all it's old distributors come on board. Nokia brand is just too powerful to fail in India.
