Its a fantastic handset for the price, for someone that likes compact it will do the job with no hassles at all and its very fluid.

USA always has awesome smartphone deals. In Germany, you have to pay € 60 if you want a entry level phone, and then it is a cheap ZTE which is worse than this

I have 640 as backup phone for my 950XL, my wife has 640XL, few of my friends have 640 and i have never experienced or heard about problems you are writing about. Vice versa, 640 is a LOT of faster and more reliable after anniversary update and following ones.

Only if Microsoft bundle an Android phone with this unusable Windows 10 Mobile brick, then I would consider buing it! My Lumia 640 is totally unusable after downgrade to Windows 10 Mobile because Egde crashes within 5 minutes, rebooting the phone, even though I have made a fresh install of the os many times after many upgrade attempts trying to make my worst purchase ever atleast usable!

Someone Else, 13 Jan 2017inexpensive. but not worth it Obviously. They claim to be feature phones but they barely have any feature, except the stric minimal basic features, and even less.
