I suppose they are playing it safe. The Arc will serve as a flagship, but revenue-wise... against strong and innovative competition... i doubt its success.
OTOH, SE have the Vivaz Hw design which is not so old after all and, as it seems, can be adapted to Android at low cost, so why not re-use it in the mid-high price range? Additionally, SE may want to introduce a droid with hardware keyboard as well, and the super-slim XPERIA Arc design does not appear to be suitable for this. So maybe a "Neo Pro" might be on its way, too.

And you want 1080p video recording? Go get a camcorder. Again, all phones aren't up to the standard of normal cameras and camcorders so why put 1080p on it? It won't make a lot of difference.

Good looking phone, so it doesn't have dual core, maybe it will be priced below the dual core ones.

I think sony ericsson learn their lesson with the X10, and won't do it again.
Problem is, that those who had bad experience with SE, won't go back even if they're pulling out a new awesome phone.
I had a X10, great phone, bad support, changed it for a GalaxyS captivate, good service, updates. won't go back to SE.

Exmor is not perfect. It still has problems with dead pixels, just like other "backlit" image sensors.

I have a vivaz, and i had an update to speed up my start up time, add facebook on to my home screen, update youtube, add barcode scanner and much more. And that is 2 month after the release of vivaz. So shut up. X10 messed up because sony think its cool to add things to complicate the updates, and what did they change in the year? Removed mediascape!
