I will never ever entertain another HTC again, I've had problems after problems with them, I'm on my third HTC One M8, it doesn't receive messages half the time, it tells me I've missed phone calls when it hasn't rang, and last night it was over heating again to the point it was to hot to hold.
I won't even look at another one again let alone a 10.

I laughed a little reading the last sentence stating "There's currently no information on whether a particular region/market is affected by the company's decision to halt the roll out, or it's applicable globally.". It sounds like it's released to all of the regions, but nothing could be further from the truth: only the American market got it so far, everyone else is still waiting, and it seems like that we'll have to wait a "little" more...

Zac, 14 Jan 2017While guess I'm gonna still be waiting for nougat 😑 I love ... moreIn all due seriousness... Why on earth would you not do the simple task of unlocking your device, going SuperCid (you type a single three word command in a line, that's it...hell the damn super did is 11111111 like... wow) this allowong yoi to take ANY FIRMWARE FROM ANY HTC 10 and running a stock ruu from the unlocked, full band variant straight from HTCs servers. Nobody is even asking you to root and custom rom. You would literally just turn your device into the truly unchained beast it is, and could go from one firmware to another without hesitation, and back to stock without even the need for a PC. Hell, if you're willing to pay for Sunshine, it will unlock and s-off automatically for you. I've been on Nougat since... Freaking October. Seriously. You don't even lose your warranty unless it's Verizon, and since you can go back to day 1 stock anytime (you put a zip in your SD, vol down and power, then when it says vol up to run or down to cancel... Well, you go up. You're done. You can do it on the toilet.) I just just dont get it. HTC owners literally have it so easy. Think Samsung owners get this privilege?

I thought HTC are very good in making great updates on time, but i am starting to doubt, after most of the other companies got bugless nougat already, even OnePlus and Huawei are updating their cheaper phones.
