I wouldn't dare to compare this to ... moreThat's why there is the Xperia Z4 tablet that's equipped with a 2k 10" screen that 8s capable of leaving you jawless...My mom uses one since it's release and I've only spent 6 hours to realize how powerful and complete this device is. The lte version that I have in my possession also cones handy if you're away a WiFi spot. Maybe you could compare this with the ipad and galaxy tab you mentioned.

Are there any new exciting features that are added in Nougat from Marshmallow or is it just basically performance enhancements? I've watched hand's on videos of these OSes and I can't tell them apart. I can spot any difference between them.

Anonymous, 14 Jan 2017You're damn right. I'm really hate Apple since my iPad 3 is... moredude, it's from spring 2012 that's almost 5 years. Just make an upgrade and you will be safe for at least another 5 years (probably more because ARM chips are doing massive leaps in performance)

Too bad that manufacturers seems to have given up on Android tabs. But still good to know that they have updated it with Nougat.

Z3+ w... moreMarshmallow update fixed the heating issues, and it can now record a continuous 40-minute 4K video before overheating. That's way longer than today's flagships can, with the exception of Xperia XZ and iPhones (that record in 4K)

If only Sony continued the legacy, they might be leading the world of tablet already. And the fact that it still ran Android 5 just proves how amazing Sony is with OS updates.
