Tablets are great for finding your way around with Google maps, and great for communicating with Skype and Viber.
What is missing from iPads is GSM communication. When I'm carrying a tablet I want to be able to make and receive phone calls. One silly complaint is that they are a bit big for holding to your ear when making a phone call...well use a headset like I do!

Trasher, 19 Jan 2017Great! Now that Apple plans to out a 10.5 inch tablet, mayb... moreI wished that would happen too. Tab S and Note 10.1 (2014) were awesome tablets, but Samsung seems to have given up on them. Hopefully, Apple's entry will re-energize them back......

Anonymous, 19 Jan 2017I don't think anyone cares anymore. Tablets seem dead. Ever... moreTrue. Plus phablets are a lot more useful and come with large screens as well.

Just don't discontinue the Air. IMO the Air tablets are amazing, and the perfect tablet for this year would be 9.7', A10X, great front camera, average rear (no one uses it anyway), I am happy with the screen resolution of Air 1&2, 4GB RAM, that's it I guess.

I'm more than completely good with the original Air. Can't see replacing it for years to come.

Great! Now that Apple plans to out a 10.5 inch tablet, maybe Samsung, following in their footstep, does the same and revives 10,5" Tab S. What a great device. Alas, even if it would do so, 4th gen. would still have 4:3 screen like 2nd and 3rd, and not 16:9 of the original...
