[deleted post]God, haters like you deserve the 'MOST OVERRATED COMPANY, APPLE'.Samsung galaxy Note 7 was one of the best phones of 2016 ,Many many apple users as well as reviewers praised the Samsung Note 7. There's a reason people are still keeping a hold of it even after Samsung begging for the return of the devices. Bad luck that samsung went through so much inspite of making such a great phone. I'm damn sure they will make up for the note 7 scene with their new phones.

        Dear Samsung,

Just admit it as design failure and case close. Next one, learn from mistake and build the better one with higher price. Business!!!

Imagine if an explosion occurs during that press conference in the place :D

I think some average consumers already forgot the Note7 fiasco, except haters (like UD{0 as example}.
I hope S8 will getting better and better in terms of everything (quality and durability) because I'm looking for S8 Plus 'cause i love big screen very much :-)

Zenodroid, 20 Jan 2017lol. the rest of the world already know. it is bc of the sw... moreI am a Samsung hater but you're incorrect, the reason for Note 7's failure is the battery positioning and interior design, there's no room for it's heat exhaust and the build inside the unit is to tight, not the type of battery it had

No need to wait for the explanation - batteries degrade used or unused, batteries become unstable with high or low temperatures, batteries expand, they have a limited life span. A removable battery system is the most practical - once lifespan has been reached, buy a new one and never have to go to a service center.

lol. the rest of the world already know. it is bc of the switch to li-poly crap battery, that fits better than the the li-ion. to make the phone be more design than performance, like apple. and that is the result. instead of sticking with thte stable li-ion battery and just making the phone 1 mm thicker. s8 will suffer the same problem, bc that is my curse on sammy, for screwing its magic!!!

A cause for the battery to explode is it's components. Try putting a battery under a direct sunlight and if will bulge. Its same with intense heat that is building up inside the note 7. Due to a lack of proper exhaust. Since Samsung focus on designs and performance. They forgot the main ingredient which is Quality and Durability.
