"Allegedly, Samsung considered moving to a two-pipe design, but ultimately decided to stick with the tried and tested setup."
They are really conservative on internal design this time. Dont want disaster come twice.

Not sure about this to be honest. I have the Sony Z5 with that horrible 810 snapdragon processor and this phone has a heat-pipe and I can say from experience that all the heat travels to one spot on the phone. Doesn't dissipate the heat properly. Maybe with the new processors and gpu's it will run better, but I must say.... its TERRIBLE in the Z5. Can't even record 60fps full HD video for 3 mins! video in 30fps exactly 5mins max then a notice message pops up saying heat levels are critical camera app must shut down etc.

In light of the Note 7 disaster. We could say that this generation from Samsung will be one of the most tested and quality assured handsets that they will ever make. Until they become relaxed again in the succeeding generations. So for those who wan't a Samsung flagship. Go and get this generation.
