January security update starts hitting Sony Xperia X and X Compact

@yogi, my phone before the update did this and its cuz theres a sensor on the top right that gets dirty even small amount of grease or anything will block that sensor so the screen is stuck black, if you take your shirt n whipe the top right of your screen it will light up and u can answer, i struggled a few months before i figured that out

But in reality at least Lenovo updated the major Android version for their Mediatek based phones several times (4.2 -> 4.4, 4.4 -> 5.0, 5.0 -> 6.0 etc).
So Mediatek can't be blamed for companies such as Sony not bothering with updates because Lenovo showed it was possible.

Sony should update Xperia XA to Android 7.0
It's new phone with bad software support..
We have Android 6.0 with august security patch...

Why can't Lenovo let Motorola be great again? All the Moto lineup would've gotten the January patch by the 20th! I miss when Google was driving Motorola. It was a Nexus-like experience, but with little bloat. The Moto X even had KitKat before any Nexus.
