where are you "Gitty", "him" and "deep space bar" when you all told us the update will come in January? I was right when I said February is the month for the first minor update, and believe me you won't see the next update before May
this month is about 5+ new major handsets to be announced from different manufacturers, while Nokia surprised us with a new 'patch' for the S^3s!!!
IF they announce MeeGo, I won't be interested because of the first release bugs, as always with any new OS which needs time to get mature like where Android 2.3+ gets
Well done Nokia, you're riding a camel while the others is on a train... pity me for choosing this lazy brand.

Nokia please update the music player.. Why there are no manual equlizer setting.? Only preset available. my Nokia n95 got it. I thought n8 even better.? I'm wrong. Please do better update. Thanks.

I own a NOkia N8 but I think this update is a joke.... nokia making a joke out of their customers (Loyal users). If PR 2.0 (with new browser) aint coming this February, I will certainly never ever buy a nokia (not symbian atleast), I may consider testing meego once it is available (I have already doubted nokia, atleast at the moment of post)

no one can understand that nokia n8 customers are 80% interested in photo/video performance???? Things like display,o.s.,boring,not boring are NOT IMPORTANT. Personally i should take a series-40 based o.s. Nokia if it has the best camera on market. I am not interested in playing with fingers on display an d stupid chat with stupid people on facebook. If you want android or windows with the best display,turn heads to htc and samsung, nokia is knowing very well it's customers needs: classic mobiles,classic functions,best audio,photo and video performance. I have Nokia 2700 of my mom, buyied at 50 euros, and it has THE BEST AUDIO HEADPHONES OUTPUT from all mobiles,powerful than all ipods, very very close to ipod touch 4th generation

mobile review reported that nokia spend the most in R&D and they only come out with this! its not only boring, it is very frustrating especially for someone like me who owns an N8 and seeing my friend's iphone and samsung having great features. N8 aint that bad but i would not recommend it to anyone especially with this flimsy update if that's what its called.

It is easy to understand that nokia will not make any much changes on this existing nokia devices, it's because they always go with their profiting plans, as they have the new E7 ready for sell, and existing nokia users maybe half of them get angry with their existing phones and bay the new one..., and the nokia is the winner!
