Specs wise sounds similar to the ODroid C-2, both do 4k, hdmi 2.0, gigabit ethernet, etc. Only US$40 for the ODroid though.

RK3288... Rockchip is notoriously bad at properly supporting standards. Just cruise the Kodi forum for more information. Going with this SoC is a terrible choice if they want to advertise Kodi support.

Stop calling every embedded system a raspberry pi clone. Raspberry pi did one thing to set it apart from the rest. Its extremely low cost. Of you don't have that (and most don't ) it's nothing like a raspberry pi.
BTW at those prices you can buy a full windows tablet for the last 2 years or so. It would not be impressive even for 2 years ago.

The reason there are no USB 3.0 ports is because the USB 3.0 standard has a problem working alongside wireless 2.4GHz radio adapters like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. When a USB 3.0 device is operating in close proximity to 2.4GHz radio the electrical interference is so great that it prevents any wireless communication.
Most manufacturers have become aware of this problem, and utilising additional shielding in an attempt to mitigate the problem (wireless routers with USB 3.0).
However I have bought an original Microsoft Surface 3 docking station which is affected by this problem. This is how I personally became aware of this.
You can read about it on the associated Wikipedia page. Supposedly it is less of a problem with the USB 3.1 specification.
So an exposed embedded board, such as this one, would not cope with the interference. The built in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth would not work when using a USB 3.0 device.

Decode 4K @ 60fps ?! That's impressive. I wonder if any current smartphone can even capture that?
