The irony is Apple thinks it can make a smartphone costing 30K INR - right now only high income class can truly afford a iPhone. Unless they put out compelling product which can beat OnePlus - which I don't think is possible its just a bad decision. Beside this INDIA is a value for money market - where iPhone don't matter at all

Its is for the Indian market and not anywhere else. So everyone else should be fine. People out side of India will not get the Indian made iPhone, so thats a relief.

Samsung and TSMC made both those chips, but one was proven to be a bit more superior than the other. And also the far slower 32gb Iphone 7, compared to its 128 and 256gb versions. So even now, people around the world are getting iphones that are varying quite considerably in performance and most likely, quality as well.
