23 January 2017
It's all about killing the bezels this year, and Samsung's Galaxy S8 will have an important competitor for that in the LG G6.

Let's hope LG can secure enough Snapdragon 835's to make this beauty a worthy upgrade from my Pixel. Because, of course Samsung knows even they can't beat LG this time around, so they buy all the premium chips

But when you pay for a flagship, you expect the latest and the best. In 2015, with Exynos 7420 redefining how powerful and efficient a chipset could be, the 808 (with it's decent CPU but below-par GPU) just couldn't pose as a flagship-worthy chip.

Jatin, 24 Jan 2017Your opinion is good but people doesnt just seem to like it... moreBut the failure of those phones is not caused by the removable battery. All LG phones have some serious problems. They are nothing to do with removable battery.

LG G3 - QHD screen resolution with Snapdragon 801: S801 was NOT meant for QHD screen resolution, therefore G3 is always overheating and has poor battery life. They reduced the screen brightness too to improve battery life. The cause is that LG rushed, they wanted to be the first with QHD screen resolution. The result was a crap phone, the G3 with ugly, dim screen, poor battery life, bad performance, overheating, ...

LG G4 - Snapdragon 808 and bootloop: Yes, 2015 is the worst year for Qualcomm. 2015's Snapdragon processors are the worst in the mobile history. Snapdragon 808 and 810 are always overheating, have high battery consumption and very bad performance. Although it is not LG's fault but Qualcomm's, LG should have to use Snapdragon 805 in G4 and V10 instead. I'm sure I don't have to go into details about the other problem: the bootloop.

                                        LG V10 - same as G4

LG G5 - very ugly back design (that looks like a face: two cameras are the eyes, the sensors are the nose, the power button is the mouth, and it annoyed people), poor modular design (for example gap between the bottom module and the phone), useless modules, removed features that were present in previous LG flagships (manual mode for video recording, dual window, app drawer), screen ghosting, still bootloops reported, fragile camera glass

LG V20 - still ugly back design, very very fragile camera glass (more fragile than G5's), very bad camera quality (V20 has worse camera than G5), completely useless EIS (electronic image stabilization) causes weird vibration/distortion to the videos, still bootloops reported

And all LG phones have bad OIS (optical image stabilization): they have wobble/jello effect, you can see it in the recorded videos.

So these problems are NOT related to removable battery. These problems are caused by the poor quality of LG phones. I hate that people don't recognize these facts and instead, they blame irrelevant things.
