Gibby , 24 Jan 2017So basically - it looks like all phones are starting to loo... moresamsung's design? iphone 4 use metal and glass, every phone always trying achieve small bezels and sharp is the first using bezelless display followed by xiaomi, all phones trying to be no camera hump but slim-and-thin-phone race forced manufacturers to thin their phones but protruding their camera module, sony was the first introducing waterproof phones to regular smartphone. And before android era, in symbian era, it was samsung who always copycat LG

Side bezels do not look particularly thin, but a 5.7" 2:1 screen is 64.75mm x 129.5mm. So in width it is the same as a 5.2" 16:9 screen. My guess is the phone will be around 70mm wide.

So basically - it looks like all phones are starting to look exactly the same this year - closer & closer to Samsung's design ethic of metal and glass, small bezels, no camera hump, waterproof etc. Even iphones are going the same way.
Won't be much variety left to choose from soon!

Removable battery pack are still great, such as LG V20.Zerolemon created a 10,000Mah battery pack for it,it might bulky like Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Zerolemon 10,000Mah battery pack but worth long.Who doesn't want a flagship phone with extreme battery life?Battery is another issue, the dual-camera setup will be another interesting topic again since LG G5 and V20 camera shows that it's one of the best out there(Google Pixel camera experience was exceptional thanks to HDR+ mode),this time what will LG offer for its camera?Main PDAF 16MP with bright lens pair up with FF 8MP with slight dim but wider angle lens or is it gonna be a total new setup this time?

The battery can still be removable. Just implement a button release just like the V20

Seeing as this is lg we r talking about, it is entirely possible that we might get a very high screen to body ratio and removable battery....
I remember how happy i was when my lg g2 was delivered......

My advice:
a) If you are buying a flagship Android phone, better buy one with removable battery to extend it's lifespan with flexible battery customization and troubleshooting.
b) If you have no choice to buy a non-removable battery Android smartphone, buy a mid-range phone which you will dump it in 1-2 years time.
c) Never update a non-removable battery Android smartphone because stock firmware was factory-tested, which is the most stable whereas future OTA updates are basically based on public feedback from forums, blogs etc. which may not apply on every user's Android smartphone.
