In truth, this is just the latest of Nokia's bad choices. Not even 2 years ago Nokia came up with what I believe to be the best smartphone of its generation, the N900, with great hardware and great OS for its time. As a matter of fact its cpu was actually a 1200 mhz, capped to 600 for heating reasons. Unfortunatelly due to lack of marketing and customer services, the N900 never reached the standard it was meant to. Now, we not only find out that Nokia has given up on Meego/Maemo, but we also find ourselves staring dumbfolded at a mid-range smartphone costing as much as those top of the line. I have been a Nokia customer for a very long time, and honestly, I kind of liked the Sybian OS, but now, it just doesn't cut it anymore. And instead of bringing new ideas and new standards as it once did, all Nokia can do is to hang tight to its once deserved number 1 on the phone market. The decision to join the WP7 OS remains to be seen, but I wouldn't hold my breath on it. Rest in Peace Nokia..

      To all those Androidians;

      Look, a phone is a small device, a use for communication. Yet with the more expensive phone, features play a big role, 12MP camera to take shots no cheaper Point&shoot camera can, HD recording for everyone, simple web browsing, watch youtube OTG. Thats a phone, and thats a nokia.

      Androids?? You cant cramp a computer-like device into something handheld. The reason why Alienware are so thick, and reason why stylish thin laptops dont run well is because technology do need alot of space even to this day. No phone will be able to perform like a computer, and no camera phone even the N8 can change the minds of DSLR users.

      With Symbian, you get the most of everything 'SUITABLE' for a small handheld and get things done efficiently, and not get the top of everything like androids then suffer. Androids can have the eye candy but later on would have the slowest speed to interact with the user. Whats the point?

      Most android users are gamers, hardcore computer enthusiasts who HAS a decent game console, who has a decent-to-good computer systems. Its a small device to carry around, it should not be crampped with something unstable.

                I find it strange that i have to agree with the haters. I mean common nokia! After all this time the only thing you could come up with was S^3?? No proper Web Browser? No Fluent GUI? No Snapdragon to handle all those large files? Have the people at nokia not seen what the competition are doing in the smartphone segment? What the hell is going on at your R&D department??? For the love of god DO SOMETHING!!!

                I was planning on buying an N8 for Christmas but after a brief comparison to the other major smartphones in the store, I decided to go with a silver nokia 6700. It's no smartphone but it works, it looks awesome and it gets the job done! And It's no bloody "add"phone either.

                Nokia need to get their act right really soon or they wont be many people left who'd be willing to spend their money on their products.

                            I am a Symbian fun for a lot of reasons, which i am not goin to write now.

                            Still, i think Nokia's devices are overpriced for the hardware and potential the offer.

                            Sad to say that my next phone is goin to be an Android one.

                            Sorry Nokia funs but Nokia produces the crapiest Symbian phones the last few years. Even N8 has inferior hardware to Vivaz. When Samsung was selling Omnia HD, or even when SE was selling Vivaz, Nokia had made no Symbian phone with GPU.

                            They need a serious change in market policy
