I had 2 phones from vertu different models but I regretted because I paid a lot on device which doesn't worth. first of all I don't understand vertu why they don't step forward and I wont get shocked if this company will close after couple of years due to weak strategies and clearly that big managers are old fashion since no improvement in their strategy for so long. Now adays consumer I will not say rich people any consumer will ask is this device deserve that much money I would pay... the answere is NO... I bought an expensive phone which I realize later that is old model phone of sumsang with no feature and since day one I face a problem with phone and headset so I paid more money on fuel more than the phone with their policy which says we cannot exchange and try to fix with no hope... My advise change the planning manager and do a contract with new smart phone like iphone 7 or coming 8 and convert it as vertu at that time you will get shocked of level of purchase which will increase dramatically.

You are very stupid to believe that rich people give us jobs. Ultimately the rich just get richer and lie,cheat and steal to cut there way to the top. They also cut jobs and force people out of jobs by ruthless means and then replace with robots, Where then Sir is your employment?
As for them spending there hard earned money on Vertu phones good luck but I would spend my money more wisely.
Like you said though who needs brains to be rich!

Why would rich people buy $1000 cutleries just to eat? Who on earth eats with gold cutlery?! Lets just say its a hobby thing. Rich people get bored easily. They can afford every latest flagship smartphones out there. But not everyone can afford a Vertu. Its special. They simply wants something that normal people cant afford. If Im rich I dont want to be seen using an iphone like a normal people. It just too NORMAL. NORMAL people are poor.

first, i don't need wikipedia since I already know about vertu, this brand is an old player.. now, it seems you don't had any slightest idea about rich people, no matter how financial times or wired magazine criticized about vertu, many rich-lifestyle magazines often talk about vertu brands there, keep in mind rich people had different taste unlike us, that's why we often see many expensive stuff which had ugly design or tastless design to us, commoners.. such like gold plated phones, full with diamonds everywhere. Both financial times and wired magazine would see vertu from different perspective. But lifestyle magz or other luxury magz which has readers from rich people will be differ with financial times and wired magz..
"The virtual butler maybe a good thing for those people who have nothing better to do. Rich people tend to stay that way though"
---> keep in mind, many of vertu users who use this feature do have far bigger income than yours, sir.. to them, you are just insignificant people nagging to rich people, never underestimate rich people, what makes them rich is also provide people like us a job
So my question is why would I pay up to some $40000 for a phone which probably costs a fortune to replace a battery when it's expired, That it's technology is not "High End" and will no doubt depreciate in value at probably something $500 a month?
