What is up with this price? Even for schools it is too high! I wonder which schools will decide to buy this, especially when it comes with Intel Celeron?!

mir, 25 Jan 2017For schools and they decide to price it so high. And with c... moreOur schools are smarter. They buy refurbished computers at a low price from an non-profit organization. They are pretty decent computers. This includes full fledged ThinkPad, Dell Latitude and HP ProBooks. They all come with 7 Pro. Most have either 4-5th gen Intel Core i5, i7 or with vPro and fingerprint. They often come with SSDs too. They pay about 200 CAD$ each. This also applies to desktops, most coming with dual Intel Xeon chips, Intel i5 or olders with Intel Core 2 Extreme, also with vPro. But they all rely to iGPU. Or we pay full price for 30 Macs. That's because we also work with macOS specific apps. Schools aren't dumb (they can't afford to).

For schools and they decide to price it so high. And with celeron processors to boot. You could get a proper i5 laptop for that money. Non of that weak 2-in-1 nonsense.

"Clumsy people" good one. But price it somehow too high, other Crome books are better although they aren't convertibles.

I actually like this retro-cool rounded-thick plastic look of the laptops.
Reminds me of an older time when laptops were not sharp, edgy pieces of thin metal with little or no ports (a la Macbooks).....
