Btw, the Sharp's bezelless smartphone is more better and beautiful, but the China OEM couldn't learn the truth design concept of bezelless, perhaps they had some mishap to complete the bezelless designs.

i would prefer flagship with 1080p and a battery life that could beat at least a moto g3 ... also priced closer to samsung or lg : P

This year should be the quality priority year. Just a reference from those explode news recently, we can know the design and quality is the most important things, only Sony know that and do that, the competitors don't care the battery designs and making with flaws components.

That's one of the reasons why sony phones don't sell well. Xiaomi Mii Mix has been the best looking phone for the last few years. I agree with the OP this year is about large screens and small bezels (a 5.7" phone in the same overall dimensions of sony's 5.2" phone).

DOA unless Sony get rid of their ugly huge bezels. This year is the year of minimal bezels (thanks to the Xiaomi Mii Mix from late last year) starting with the S8, S8 Plus and hopefully rumoured LG G6.

Where is the compact ? Compacts used to be Sony's strength. But just like camera & battery life they have thrown it down the drain.
