I won't hold my breath, becuase it isn't and you have no clue. The thing about ARC is that it doesn't really work and leads to memory leaks. It's worse than no memory management since it gives the impression of memory management without actually delivering it. Modern GC is just as efficient as ARC or anything else, it has been for years, but your information seems to come from the 1990's. Time to get updated, lol.
I guess if you've convinced yourself there is no lag on your phone then you'll never see any lag. Or having to reboot your phone. Good luck with your iPhone.

You think they perform smoothly... moreHey, If you understand anything about software you should know that Android has serious memory hunger due to garbage collection(which is introduced by obviously using Java) which is inheritently inefficent. It's cool and stuff but that's why Android needs more memory.
IOS uses ARC (Google it) which is an efficient scheme and Apple forces developers to think about that which in turn churns out better apps and better memory experience.
My 6GB RAM OnePlus 3T stutters and redraws it's launcher.I don't care if it's a bug or a unoptimised case. As a normal user i can frown upon it. It's been there since Gingerbread days!
I seldom face any lag on my Iphone 6s. 2GB RAM.

Quite a bea... moreAnyone can post a video with a test that caters to an individual phones strengths, it proves very little. In my own use my Xiaomi Note 3 pro is faster and more functional than any iPhone thanks to it being set up to suit my own use. I do not have the crashing app problems that I experience with iPhones either.
One another point remember how you were saying how well Apple were doing in China? Remember you said the last quarter of 2016 was a big turn around? Well the market grew well, but Apples share fell massively and it even lost the top selling phone slot! Wrong again Mr. Duel.

India is very much about show and LOOKING richer than everyone else. So this is not surprising - its a status thing more than functionality. Just like all the gold bling they wear - cheap nasty but looks the part (in their minds anyway).

IOS is simpler, less functional and runs under-specced hardware compared to its Android equivalents. Even in normal use apps crash more on iPhones, when you push an iPhone it gets worse. When iPhones compare in specs and what they can do you can start comparing performance properly.

Most 95 percent iphone sold in India are base version. Almost all are 16gb version only some 32gb iphone. From year 2016 apple has stopped 16gb version in USA. Here in India they advertise big discounts only for 16gb version and ignorant people just buy them for sake of showoff or crazy apple fans. Just I want to say Apple is one of the most cunning and false business company which makes people to become ignorent sheeps.

"Premium" is not defined by price, but by quality of build, design and specification. There are many phones as good and in many ways better than iPhones at half the price or less. Dominates the "overpriced" market maybe.

Google "confirmation bias" and you'll understand your behaviour. For people like me who have to use and program both, there is no comparison. In actual usage, outside of ideal circumstances, most iOS devices other that the top of the line (which, surprise!, have more memory) will run like dogs at some point in any 30 minute period, while almost all mid range Android devices and many low end devices don't have such problems and exhibit virtually zero lag.
If you understood something about software you'd realise the more your memory is limited the slower you will run, and there will be more pauses and data is swapped back and forth between memory and flash (google "thrashing"). There is no magic that will save you from that, no matter what Apple's marketing department tells you.

Apple relies their fast and smooth user experience, people don't care about numbers if the device works great just like iOS devices does.
I buy newest iPhone i know it will run everything perfectly for atleast next two years. You buy android device with most badass specs and still might play laggy game released tomorrow.
Apple users knows they are safe no matter what they run everything works perfectly. We dont need to look numbers because everything are designed and build to work perfectly with our devices, thats the beauty with iOS ecosystem.
