Acer is just a lazy company because the Anniversary Update increases the performances and the stability of W10M on all phones

The anniversary update is a total disaster on my Lumia 640, so I have also gone back to the very first release of Windows 10 Mobile on my Lumia 640 and I will forever stay because it was/is stable enough! On the anniversary update Edge could crash many trimes every MINUTE, that is the most unstable OS I have ever seen!

Can Acer release a new one with Android? I was impressed with the resolution capability of the camera. Nothing comes close except for that Nokia N808

class action lawsuit to compensate those who bought them cough up Acer

At least, Acer knows how to make a really good camera. (Unlike Asus)

Windows 8 has absolutely no problems whatsoever.

Windows 10 was supposed to be the FINAL update for any phone running W8

Windows 10 was so far from being released it should have been postponed

Every W10 upgrade W10 but adds more bugs or doesn't fix the problem

As you can see even other phone makers can't rely on Microsoft who had the temerity to say that purchasing Nokia was a mistake.

Look BlackBerry are still selling all Android phones, Microsoft gave stopped, as the phone us on except Windows 10 causes so many problems, like Samsung with the Note 7, Microsoft stopped

I love having a Windows 8 phone and look forward to surface phones.

If Microsoft can't get Windows 10 or whatever software to run error free, then that is it for Microsoft, how do you upgrade to phone with software issues or persuade other phone makers to release a Microsoft phone

You simply don't know how adept / efficient / refreshing Windows 8 is

We cannot only have 2 operating system because the great laptop makers cannot fix Windows 10

AnonD-108057, 27 Jan 2017isn't this quite a common thing in windows phone? buying WP... moreActually Microsoft updates the os regularly. Its just the apps that dont get upgraded. So acer pulling support for the os is just bad on acer not Microsoft

The update aimed at improving stability led to instability! How Ironic! But to give credit where it's due, it does capture awesome 4K videos.

Well, you had to be crazy to even considering buying a W10-phone to begin with, so I guess this wasn't a surprise for the owners.

isn't this quite a common thing in windows phone? buying WP is like being prepared to lose support, if any.

So, no Skype for those users within the next few weeks.

For Windows-based phones, only the UWP version of Skype will continue to be able to login after Microsoft finishes its transition to a new cloud-based Skype infrastructure. And the UWP version of Skype will not be released for devices that haven't been upgraded to at least the Anniversary Update.
