I ... moreYou got to be kidding me right.Sony completely changed its UI from ICS to JB.I know because i used a Xperia S before switching to samsung.Although it wasnt an improvement they changed the UI.Sony lacks identity too,plus they are unusable for a poweruser like me.They lost all the features along the way.Sony cameras could take 3D pics in ICS but they cahnged it for gimmiky cartoon overlay in JB.Hows that for an improvement?

Sonys waterproofin makes the phone unusable
Low speaker volume,low amp out(.3V for sony Xperia XZ vs .75V for samsung galaxy S7/s7edge vs 1V for Iphone 7/7 plus).Plus Sony only have an OK camera and software they even put a cheap plastic camera lens instead of a glass or sapphire to get more profit

A colleague of mine had a J7 which got wet accidentally and died. Samsung's service centre took a month to inform him that either he will be getting a replacement or will get the same phone after repairing. Took 2 months to get his phone back (repaired). Thats Samsung for you.

Well Touchwiz ha... moreYes i am proud that i dont own a phone full of gimmicks. I dont care about so called features in Nougat except that my phone has become more fast and responsive than ever with merely 3GB of RAM unlike your 4GB RAM Galaxies which still lag and stutter.
You guys have always been a fan of TouchWiz when it was every bit of lag back in ICS and Jelly Bean even, that was a nightmare to use. Since then, Samsung has completely revamped the TouchWiz (which i really admire that from ICS to Nougat, they have really improved) but then where and what is the actual TouchWiz identity? While Sony is still keeping its signature UI since ICS till now with minimal bloatware and faster and responsive operations.

The Sony waterproofing is better and durable than iPhone 7. You can watching the Jerryrigeverything on youtube, the bend test show the iPhone 7 bend a slightly and lose it attached back cover:

The "holes covers" (like simcard flap, headphone flap) are easily wear-off and finaly detached from its position. Once you lose it you can't do anything, you have to bring it to the slowny service center and wait for 2 MONTHS to get it fixed. I know where u live, that is sony service center quality in your country. Worst.
Samsung and Lg can resolve that kind of problem in 3 days or less.

What are yall talking about, each and every one of us knows that SONY means Walkman which brought music in to our lives on move,SONY means handycam which made filming handy for us,SONY means PS which brought the entertainment to us,SONY means TV long before Samsung started to produce it's first TV,SONY means superb headphones that Samsung can't even dream of making such, SONY means HIFI stereo tape recorder/player with the real boom sound,oh GOD i got tired...

Samsung doesn't have the deep foundation in making waterproofing Android smartphone.
Sony made a lot of waterproofing android smartphone, I am attracted by the Xperia Acro HD many years ago and now Sony make it better and even better for latest and newer smartphones.

Mini apps are not good so sony ditched it.Samsung has a floating apps mode too,in addition to multiwindow so you can operate 3 or more apps simultaneously.
Ive never used any midrange samsung for 3 years.but then they had samsung music player.
Now you can download the Samsung Music app from app store if you have any samsung device
