Moto E3 Power won't be getting Nougat, Motorola confirms

30 January 2017
The company's official India customer help website clearly says the handset - which launched in September last year - will remain on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the version it arrived with.

oh the horror

Moto E family (1 & 2) filled up the economy segment for the company. It was real good offer at price.
But with E3 combined with mediatek SoC, Lenovo has killed the line.

Actually it's Moto G 4 play which should have been E3 in true sense and more than enough to compete the market segment. There was no need of mediatek version.

Buyers of E3 Power would feel cheated for sure. Any new iteration of E family will never be welcomed by buyers. There are cheaper options in market, but a Moto loyalist chose to go with Moto. And this is what lenovo reward them for loyalty.

Lenovo, you are destroying the customer trust and loyalty which Motorola has built over years.
