I would like it to be even lower as I don't use it. My phone is on wifi when I am at home and it's on wifi when I am at work. Meanwhile I don't use my phone like most people who cant even see where they are going cause they face there phone in social media or play games. I listen music when I go home from work or to work from home and I don't even have Spotify or other bs programs I just don't need them. I have my playlist on my phone. I rarely even get 50mb used per month with my phone. I have 100/100mb unlimited data connection at home and 1GB speed at work

I know lots of people who have there home connection 4G cause landline don't go to there home or is going past there home but it's to expensive to get the wire set to there home, even when the length from house to the line box is few hundred meters. And well they already test 4.5G or 5G in here to. Or at least start testing it soon. I live in Estonia/Estland

                        Philippines should learn from them!

I hate the telcos here in my country!

I hope that Nokia will enter the Philippine market to challenge our useless telecom networks namely- SMART and GLOBE telecom.

rrhyme, 30 Jan 2017Agree...4G speed is enough for now...4G internet speed here in the Philippines S U C K S big time. Internet here is very expensive and slow.

Philippines ranks second to the last after Iraq with the slowest internet speed in ALL OF ASIA. We have an average speed of 2Mbps, but in my area I can only get 300kbps or less.

Our telecom networks advertise their internet promos as UNLIMITED but in reality we can only use 800MB of data per day.

Here in the Philippines, there are only two telcos- SMART and GLOBE telecom. Their service SsssssUuuuuuCccccccKkkkkkSsssssss. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Lol once again, samsung has already started developing 5G. Nokia is always one step late.

KMB877, 30 Jan 2017The article mentioned "Nokia and Orange will DEVELOP..." an... moreThe Alcatel- Lucent acquisition from 2015-2016 is all about telecommunication and network equipments, making Nokia 1 of the strongest player on this field beside Ericsson. Nokia paid 16,6 billions $ for the deal, far more than 8 billions $ Microsoft paid for Nokia Mobile Division. This made the company to loose 613 million eur on profit in Q4 2016 but hopefully this will speed up 5G network development. Nokia has no intention to make phones with A-L. Its HMD experiment is still running and kicking.

                                  ---
I saw a lot of people making confusion between Nokia network infrastructure and Nokia cellphones maker (the first one was never sold to Microsoft). Even more, Nokia just finished the buying procedures of Alcatel-Lucent (Alcatel-Lucent use to own the Alcatel brand name but the Chinese cellphone manufacturer TCL accrued the name for his cellphones).

Internet speed is your bandwidth. Bandwidth is the amount of data that can be sent to you, usually measured in seconds. For example, 5 Mbps would mean that you can receive up to 5 megabits of data per second. Speed and bandwidth? Its is the same thing!
