It's not possible to provide updates for everybody at the same time. True for Google with Nexus devices. It was possible to receive updates after a month of release.
BTW, received update to 7.0 a week ago :)

Still awaiting update for Vodafone India? is it available on OTA or manual download. As i cant see any notification on my phone? Or can i go and visit Samsung Service Center to update it manually. Please help. Or if anyone have the link to download manually for India update. Please share the link. Thanking you in advance.

I think this will be my last Samsung.....They are so slow in doing everything. Maybe go the Google pixel route, then at least you will be first inline for release updates as they are already rolling out 7.1.2 to their devices....

S7 with nougat is utterly fast.working in lightening speed. Thanks to samsung for such a highly stable device. I could not find a single lag in whole operating system. waiting for S8.

bought an s7 edge. recently had a software update from MM to N. bad thing about it was that it gets restarted by itself. this thing was also disturbing me with my Note 4. we buy so expensive gadgets and this is what it all turns to be. Samsung needs to work on this weird software problem rather than hiking price.
doubtful whether the next s8 or note 8 might be having the same issue after the software update.

I used the uk image. But I'm still wondering why it's version 7, when Sammy said they would go directly to 7.1
