I rather to have everything out of the box rather than to have a mod phone. I had a mod-type phone back in August 2003, a Sony-Ericsson T310 where you had to purchase the camera separately and put it under the bottom as the phone didn't have a built in camera. Nothing beats having it all built in. I understand that there are capabilities with the mods like having a bigger and louder speaker or a camera with bigger lens etc. but for me it feels like a nuisance working with mods on a cellular phone.
