The publisher, 31 Jan 2017Pokemon Go has nothing to do with Nintendo. Nada... They do... morePokemon franchise is owned by a consortium consisting of Nintendo, among others. So whoever wants to make a game has to get their approval, and pay for the licensing. Best believe Nintendo isn't stupid when it comes to that, they are raking in those milions.

The publisher, 31 Jan 2017Pokemon Go has nothing to do with Nintendo. Nada... They do... moreNintendo and The Pokémon Company (TPC) both own shares in Niantic. And Nintendo also owns like 40% of TPC. Of course they are raking in the cash.

It's always around 5-10% conversion. I'm sure if it had more levels or more engaging gameplay it would be more than 5. Me personally, I don't like one click to play games.

Pokemon Go has nothing to do with Nintendo. Nada... They don't make money from it. It's another company that's raking in the bucks there.

Sorry, my maths is bad, but 5% of 78 Million multiplied by 10 is 39 Million not 54, unless you are not counting the ingame purchases and adding them in after the fact which would explain the difference.
