Last year Note 4 r... moreWell from the recent article the Note 4 wasn't anywhere on the list to get Android N which coincides whith the fact Samsung doesn't update phones after 2 years which is why the Note 4 may never get it. The note 4 is 27 months old now so we may never get it.
I hope we do I love to get more features on my Note 4 and a faster smoother U.I

I look at the comments and it's funny to see people rage about the A5 getting Nougat before the Note 4.
1: There are strong chances that it will get N too.
2: The A5 and the Note 4 share the same TouchWiz versions, but the Note's version is heavyer. That means it takes more time to complete.
3: Can't you just be happy that Samsung made a midranger that had 3 years and 3 major releases? No other companies say better (bar Nexus, obviously)
4: The A5 is excellent. To have used one, it really is a great device. Not good as the Note 4, but pretty much great after all.

Last year Note 4 received official Marshmallow update in April 2016. I dont expect Note 4 to get Nougat in February. Usually the Note series android update coincide with the new S series that will be released. So, you can expect Nougat on Note 4 after S8 is released.
Nougat is purposedly not released to the flagship line to prevent 'leaks'. If Note 4 or Note 5 get Nougat now, that pretty much going to show everything the S8 would have. Btw, this A5 get Nougat 7.0. The flagship will be getting Nougat 7.1.1. You got it? Adding to that, I read a lot of other manufacturer halt their Nougat update due to bug issue.

How about Galaxy Alpha G850? It came in 2014 september, got Lolipop 2015 september. didnt get 6.0 in 2016 even though promised for June 2016. Only got update for 12 months !!!!!!

So a 2014 model phone with 2GB of Ram, 720p Screen, Quadcore 1.2 GHz CPU is getting Android Nougat
But the Note 4 the flagship of 2014 with 3GB of Ram, 1440p Screen and a Quadcore 2.7 GHz isn't??
Come on Sammy release it for the Note 4, we never got Note 5 in Europe, there was no Note 6 plus the Note 7 had its issues.
Note 4 and Galaxy S5 should get it

Note 4 actually can really be updated to android 7.0 having opengl es3.1 suppprt and the same cpu as the nexus 6, also it was more pricey than a a5 so it not should but must be updated to 7.0

Original A5 was released in late 2014. Does it mean Note 4/S5 have a chance of getting this update?
