      Does it bring Android runtime?

Anonymous, 01 Feb 2017No its not good, if more and more people are turning away f... moreMost of the people who have abandoned are Lumia 520 users. This is natural as now android phones provide cheaper alternatives. These people are cheap and don't care. There is a lot of people who do go to android but also keep their windows phones around and still want it to be successful. I know a lot of my friends who are on android want to go on windows but can't give up their apps. The apps are the only thing keeping people from it, not the OS. Google would never develop their apps for the OS because there would be a lot of ship jumpers. They know that and it's why they try to force 3rd party apps to be taken down. Client for hangouts is one that is battling Google currently. Blackberry OS never really made the news. Windows does because it has the power to be an alternative but MS has to figure out how to build up an ecosystem first.

Anonymous, 01 Feb 2017No its not good, if more and more people are turning away f... moreNot turning away from the OS, but from the phones themselves. (actually lack of them)

Most people don't want the cheapest or the most expensive option. They want mid-range specs, good enough quality, but the Windows market currently has only budget devices and expensive devices. So it's not the OS, it's the device range that is the problem. The OS with the latest updates feels/looks/works better than Android.

Windows 10 phone is one of the best phone, currently I am using lumia 950 xl, fast processor, can open and edit apps just like in the pc, super hi res screen and the phone never get hot even playing heavy 3 D games.

AnonD-640501, 01 Feb 2017Windows phone are still live ?????? If you think about it, it must be a good OS if people are clinging on to it even if there is a huge app issue and MS retrenched. A bad OS would die pretty quickly. Honestly, I have ios/android phones but still like Windows 10 the best. I don't think it's ready for the big time yet but I sure Hope ms puts more and more focus on it and pushes it. It's too good to die. I don't want it to die, and many feel the same way.

HP Elite x3 is Windows Phone done right. Everything just screams top shelf about it and as a seasoned Android / BB10 user I'm seriously tempted to get me one of these somewhen in this year.

The W10M App Selection might be scarce but it's got quite a few gems. Rumors say Windows 10 Mobile is soon going to get an update which allows you to emulate x32 Windows programs directly on phone hardware with Continuum, thus reducing the user's dependence on HP Workspace. It probably won't be as good as a regular computer when it comes to big apps like games and CAD applications but it's still something.
