He clearly states MOST other budget phones are well build. The Moto G4 did very well in the bend test, better than some flagship phones. Some flagship phones did terrible as well.

This is not surprising or shocking at all. A phone sold for $249 you can't expect that they use very high quality protective material. They based it strength on good performance. Considering it's price it's a good performer. Now honor 8 sold at $400 dollars and it's among the best scoring phones for this kind of scratch test. It beat many phones. So don't worry if you have honor 6x just protect it with protectors. You will be OK with the performance.

Isn't it ironic that a smartphone named "Honor" goes into the shelf of "Shame"? :D
Anyways, I really think Zack should put on some safety gloves while doing his bend test.

AnonD-590763, 03 Feb 2017WHy get scratch on screen? You dont have screen protector? ... moreI didn't get a screen protector partly due to laziness (by not having enough time to visit a store to look for a better alternative) and hoping that the pre-installed protector would be enough for the time being. I always leave my phone inside a pocket on my back pack before getting back to work. Here's to hoping that the thin line did not get through the initial protector.

That said, I barely notice the line while using the phone. Also, I can't complain about the awesome performance and battery life this phone gives me. Most games and emulators I tested on it ran smoothly even on power saving settings, ensuring 2 work days before I give it a charge.

Despite the test result, Huawei definitely knows how to make their phones feel sturdy and well-built. Except the Honor 6x screen that is, I just got my first thin line after 3 weeks of using.

Also, I can't help but cringe at the thumbnails at JerryRigEverything's youtube channel. Every single one of the tested phones bent like hell....damn!

tonymancs, 03 Feb 2017Your comment at Apple's iPhone loses its top spot in China... moreBro, I don't want to comment because nothing I can share now. And I'm not compete with you so I try to stop debate. I'm lying, that up to you to believe it. I'm testing 3 units and added 2 more unit tomorrow.

Ask yourself, based on video on YT, how many unit they test? Drop?

If you see result from one unit shot test and other with 3-5 units test, which data will you believe?

You know girl what they post to medsos? Best picture and best video. Then bad quality one they will delete it then shout out to the world her phone camera is the best.

Then you really believe 100% to that YT video source that I don't even know their integrity. Sorry to say.

I understand that you are very excited and joy with the hype since it last happened in long time ago. But keep yourself right and don't cloudy your judgment.

I will reveal some Sunday but can't give much detail cuz need to act professional.

Your comment at Apple's iPhone loses its top spot in China; Oppo R9 is the new king-30.1.2017

So you didn't get your hand on new Nokia 6, but also didn't tried any new Nokia feature phone. You again try to avoid answering my questions. I just want your opinion to "open up" my mind, I don't care about your job. You are lying. Sorry to bother you again, I would not bother you even you are going for an another Nokia hate. Stay away from criticizing things you don't know and we will be fine. Cheers

But you still call Nokia overpriced despite of its tank built quality.
The main point is problem of benchmark tests. Nokia was clearly faster than Chinese cheapo yet its AnTuTu score is very similiar to Redmi. The same to ZUK Z2 vs HONOR 8. Zuk is better at benchmark but loose terribly at user speed test. = LOL No comment, I'm testing it now and cant give you anything yet.

You consider price, ok, but completely neglect built quality and software quality. You clearly rely on paper stats (sd 4xx can't be better than sd6xx). You stop testing phone without analyzing what caused lag- CPU Z and Advanced task manager can be used to find cause of lag. You are just an amateur who doesn't even know how to read. = what ever you said bro, they paid me to do test and did it bother you? wkwkwkwkk lol.

Do you test or used feature phones? = why? lol what ever you want to think, just think and judge me.

I'am not an insider. A critique don't have to know things from inside to criticize it. Android stock or Android on Nokia X2 Dual Sim are miles better than the rest for a reason.
And you absolutely missed my point. I'am not that glad N6 beat Redmi 4.

"don't even want to admit how resource-hungry Android is" so what? if I admit then Android will get better? LOL. U know well android right but can you fix this problem? if you see it (resource-hungry) as problem.

What shame is when you seems so happy when Nokia 6 beat Redmi 4 (SD430) lol, you know the price different of that phone? LOL In my country we have to spend US$413 for Nokia 6 and US$112 for Redmi 4 (SD430). Fanboy always happy when their fav phone beat cheapest phone but I'm realistic person, I compare based on price for first reason of buying phone. This point make me feel bad for you buddy.

I have this phone and am very disappointed. Although that kind of bend will not happen in day to day usage, still knowing that the phone gets like that is kinda sad. Compare it with the Honor 5X which did better than the 6X in those tests. Whats most disappointing is the kind of glass used. It scratched at level 4 which means it very soft and maybe get scratched by everyday objects such as keys. God damn it Huawei it's 2017 already! A step forward in performance doesn't mean you have to cheap out on durability and build quality.
