02 February 2017
Unlike the bend test from yesterday, the device remains functional afterwards.

As former S5, this phone excellent but S7 is something special too, I plan to skip S8 and stay with S7 or change to another brand.

Now I skip iPhone 7 now and probably S8 too. Feeling sad but that is life.

I mostly don't like Samsung for their overpriced mid-ranges and aggressive fanboys, but otherwise a solid brand. My Galaxy Ace 2 is still here with me after 4 years, now as one of secondary, no battery changed, no case and no tempered glass used. A-series is solid (avoid older J-series) but you can also consider older flagships like S5 too- if you need some addictional performance, water-resistance and almost every goodies found on newer phones (S6 is way to brittle). Avoid cheap Chinese phones with high end chips. As a tradesman you don't play heavy games, do you?

Thank you GSMArena for this test. As a tradesman (Painter & Decorator) I need a well built and durable device that will withstand a certain amount of beating. Say what you like about Samsung not offering competitive mid-range phones (not enough ram, low powered processors vs. Huawei, Honor, Xiaomi etc...) but they know how to make solid smartphones. Will therefore turn my attention to A3/A5 2017 or S7.

Anonymous, 02 Feb 2017Wow! A Sony IMX386 sensor ? Isn't that flagship grade ?More than a flagship grade I say. The best camera mobile pixel has IMX378 only. IMX386 is much better than that but the software on pixel makes it a better camera.
