This is nothing new. Even Nexus users don't get updates all at once. Some will get updates months later due to the way the updates are rolled out.
Samsung has multiple SKUs of their phones for different regions. Some SKUs, despite being the same model, may not even get updates.

The takeaway is, there's is no point in buying expensive Android phones, unless you buy phones for status symbol. Just buy cheaper models and change every year to get the latest updated phone.

Why? I guess the reason of that delay, galaxy S8 release in 2nd quarter so Samsung company force the S8 1st to recieve nougat because that is your priority. Do you think is it right to all users of S7?

S7 should have been updated since december.
Samsung started beta test later and said s7 would get 7.1 instead of 7.0.
      Now this...
So, if the current flagship is not getting soon, what about the rest of their phones?

Anonymous, 04 Feb 2017I am seriously considering selling my S7 and buying an Ipho... moreThat would be your own fault. Just because iphone gets updates doesn't mean it actually gets well updated our that they ate worth it.
They also have jess technology to update. And it took them about 7 years of supposedly perfect updates on a perfect system for only one or two perfect phones to finally address their dramatic world lead in app crashes.
Which according to that whole idea should have never existed.

And it may take samsung longer to update. But they have more advanced technology, features, and functions to update. On more phones too.
And while they do take a little longer even their 6.0 is more advanced than the 7.1 on other devices.

Some asked about release of nougat update on Samsung Mobile Singapore official page and they replied 'by march 2017'.
Updates in singapore are mostly released after a month India gets them.

I am seriously considering selling my S7 and buying an Iphone! Even though it's not official, I am getting impression that Sam is screwing over their users and soon, I wont be one of them is they continue doing this. Pick up the pace already, you failures!
