Looks great but there's not much more we can say is there.
Plus, any Win7 phone is just that and nothing more, nothing wrong with that but nothing exciting either but for the other specs like cam, CPU speed and RAM, screen & speaker quality, battery life and the final look.
Only thing is : there's the Nokia quality stamp on it, so...

symbian os is still the best os i have ever seen. unlike andriod and windows, symbiam s60 is the best and userfriendly......nokia might try modifying its own symbian and memo. this will bring symbian and memo to the top again......i want symbian s80 os to be released by nokia with everything which will bring symbian to the top of the list back again

nokia + microsoft = North America
Nokia's strategy is perhaps gain a strong profit in the North American region by releasing smartphones such as this one.

this is what i expect and hope. Since a company as big as Nokia, currently the biggest phone company in the world announce its collaboration with Microsoft about Windows as its main Phone OS, i believe nokia will have a big influence if not total control over Windows phone 7 or any future windows phone OS. So i believe nokia will push Microsoft to upgrade the OS before the first windows-nokia phone is released. Eg-memory card etc. Moreover i believe Google will prevent it's clients from using any Windows Phone in the future, and also microsoft will not allow Nokia to use Android.

It says Nokia on the phone, but all I see is a slab of plastic that could be made by HTC or Samsung, or anyone of the new Chinese companies. Lets face it bar the N8 made in finland, all phones/laptops made in volume seem to have Chine written on the box. So what's new? A name nokia that's all basically. Nokia USED to make original phones, unique in design with a unique o/s, those days are gone. It could say ANY name on the handset, foxtech even!

Dante, 12 Feb 2011Being serious, symbian has done its job from a long way, RI... moreI actually agree with Nokia and Microsoft in this brave step. They of course well studied the case and the outcome of this merge. Symbian has served customers really well since 2002, it is time to say "enough" Symbian, time for others to handle the job. I am using the HD7, and it is my first WP7 experience, it really has many limitations though. I really hope Microsoft updates the operating system with updates for the copy and paste function any many other functions too. To conclude, this step is a leap for both Microsoft and Nokia. Let's wait and see what's coming next.

Looks like a great phone eventhough it's a prototype. I hope Nokia will be succesfull from now on with co-op with MS. Symbian s40 series will still go on feature phones, it's only Symbian3 that will dissapear from the Nokia smartphone line. Question is if Nokia will be the only exclusive WP7 phone manufacturer in future? Meego will probably be for tablet only and released on a Nokia tablet or maybe Nokia will go with Windows 8 when it gets released.
I'm from Europe and it's sad to see we europeans cannot make a decent OS for portable devices. the US is where it's all going down. Apple iOS, Google Android, MS WP7, RIM BlackberryOS(i know, canadian but still NA). Ok Samsung tried with Bada OS but it didnt catch on in EU and NA, eventhough its a pretty decent OS.
