Oh they give you 1 year Warranty, almost everyone else gives 2......oh they give you 3 months Tech Support......most other give lifetime support........oh they replace your phone with another second hand one......or repair with second hand parts............I can go on and on. What will you do when Apple begin to move to a repair and return service model because it is already rolling out....so then you get your 1 year, your 5 days minimum TAT and graded spare parts and if you need any tech support after 3 months...they will charge you for it. How delirious can people be!

Anonymous, 05 Feb 2017such price can buy laptop.I think that you totally underestimate how much a phone costs to develop in order to make such a great level of integration. You can not compare a Laptop to a Mobile Phone. Mobile phones are far more advanced in terms of the technology used to manufacture.
The cost goes ways beyond that of a Price Vs Specification. One day, people will realise this. RRP Vs Spec does not equal real value.

Not to mention all the evidence that demonstrates otherwise too, in regards of RAM. If is just to add cost then I'm afraid as a European I feel ripped off. The S8 plus 64 GB variant is actually rumored to be a higher price that the Pixel XL 128 GB which is overpriced to start with. It is not about whether we need it, although I don't agree with your premise and seemingly neither do Samsung themselves. It is about the lack of choice and being ripped off. By the way. I suppose using your logic we didn't need the Note 5 I Europe either.

That is a ridiculous price for a phone, especially during present economy slow down globally. I bet my $$$ this S8 sales will not be better than its prev models.

The words below are directly from the Samsung Hong Kong web site word for word. So 6GB does make a difference according to Samsung themselves. Given the 653 SoC is a mid range chip Samsung are clearly attributing better multitasking to more RAM. So we in Europe are being short changed when their flagships only come with 4GB and when it is only for select markets that is clearly discrimination.
"Galaxy C9 Pro is the first Samsung smartphone to pack in 6GB RAM, powered by Snapdragon 653 and 1.95GHz octa-core processors, for an immediate capacity boost. More powerful than others, this device puts a world of multitasking options at your fingertips."

If RAM means nothing there is no need and all those manufacturers must be wrong including Samsung themselves. And if it is all about the SoC why are maufacturers selling mid range phones with 6gb of RAM now?

JoHei, 03 Feb 2017i needed to reply, RAM MEANS JACK SHIT. it doesnt tell how ... moreNot in the future, when Android gets more and more complex, dropping support for this phone early, when compared to other manufacturers that have moved on to 6 gigs of RAM. Not to mention Samsung's heavy software, and lack of optimization for it. Plus, it makes phones a lot less comparable, since a phone with more RAM at the same price is the better deal
