let it come down a bit more so we can buy it as you want. Of late there are many good latest phones at that price, so come down.

AnonD-388073, 04 Feb 201715 days yes but android 7 on nexus devices is still broken ... moreTrue, Nougat on Nexus does seem to have brought in a lot of problems and we can blame Google for that. But many other OEMs (Samsung, Sony, LG, Huawei, OnePlus, even HTC with their HTC 10) have already bought Nougat to their ranges.

Although many Nougat updates were delayed due to unforeseen issues, the final OTA updates rolled out for the most part were free of any serious bugs unlike the Nexus range.

So A9 doesn't have an excuse when even the HTC 10 has got Nougat earlier. But the key difference is that the HTC 10 didn't make any promise of 15 day update, unlike the HTC A9.

      For 250-270$ you can get LG G4,Motorola moto G4 plusHuawei honor 6X,ZTE axon 7 mini,Nextbit Robin,Sam J7 2016 and pretty much tons of Xiaomi,Vivo,Oppo,Meizu phones.The Huawei Honor 7 is also 250$.

$250 is still very expensive for the A9's specs and battery life. And let's not forget that broken promise of updates within 15 days of the Nexus smartphones.

A phone with good screen and camera but very bad battery life. I had it for about 6 months. And the perfomance wasn't anything special.

Anonymous, 04 Feb 2017Still overpriced to hell... 2150 mah battery? Get the zte b... moreBattery alone doesn't make the price higher. It is smaller and thinner than other devices. A battery, doesn't care which size or which fast charging features it has (which are mainly software side), costs the manufacturer about $ 2

The SoC is still to underpowered for this price. It has to be SD625 at least in this price range

Actually this is one of the best hand sets i have ever had. I looked around or months before our business swapped. I wanted a smooth handset like apple but the freedom of Android, solid build and not to big. Tick Tick Tick. Bloody brilliant phone, snappy, long lasting, (avg 1.5 days) goes the distance and with premium styling. Good quality is timeless. There have been many HTC that I would have missed, previously the One S was great with the S4 Chip and now this beauty as only owners would know and if you watched the live launch when the A9 came out you will know what I am talking about. We bought 4. Very happy !!

This is a great looking, smallish phone that was let down by way too high a price, and is still let down by way too little in the way of a chipset.
