I talked to a Rogers employee in Ottawa and he tells me that most likely the S7 will get the Nougat update sometime in March.

The Samsung edge 7 well I got mine about 7 months ago and all the issues I have had with it has put me to getting 4 replacement phones of it. I had just about every problem you could imagine. I would not have another one if somebody gave me one free. It has been worse phone I ever owned.

FINALLY! I guess we are lucky since Nougat won't release everywhere until March. Or they'll let us wait until March... I hate Canadian carriers. That's it, next time I buy unlocked from the US. At least I could get access to the Galaxy Beta Programme and get monthly updates instead of 4 security updates a year.
